Indians finished on 5th position beating Asian zonal winner Australia ... Before this in u16 ITF World Junior Tennis Finals India finished on 5th position with heroic from Sania Mirza ... Proud of Pranjala Yadlapalli, Himani Mor and Mihika Yadav.
In the first rubber Australian Jaimee Fourlis blanked Mihika ... Jaimee won the match without losing a single game, a double bagel ... Pranjala started tentatively against Aussie #1 Destanee Aiava and lost the first set easily ... But after that Pranjala produced remarkable comeback and won the second set with single break ... Pranjala gave more authoritative performance in the third and won the set with double break ... So match tied 1-all after two matches ... In the final doubles match Indian coach played Pranjala with Himani Mor against Aussie's top two players .. Aussie pair started well and won the first set ... But like the singles match Pranjala started Indian fightback with help from Himani ... They won the second set comfortably with breaking Aiava and Fourlis in 4th and 6th games ... In the final set Indians broke Aiava in 1st game but Aussie pair immediately broke Himani's serve in 2nd game to make it 1-all ... Indian take crucial break in 9th game on Aiava's serve and then Himani hold her serve for memorable win.

Ankita lost in close match against Dutch qualifier as she lost the final set in extra points of tie-break ... Ankita started confidently and won the first set but Burger dominated the second to won it comfortably ... In the decider both players fought hard and Berger became winner in close set ... Still creditable performance by Ankita on European clay.
