Group A
India l Belgium 2-3 (0-1)
Goal Scorers - Mandeep Singh (IND) 45', Akashdeep Singh (IND) 50' and Florent van Aubel (BEL) 34', Simon Gougnard (BEL) PC 56', John-John Dohmen (BEL) 70'

For me Raghunath's lack of discipline cost us this match ... When 25 seconds were remaining he failed to clear cross on top of the D which converted in a goal by Dohmen ... And 2 minutes before that Raghunath failed to convert penalty corner due to wayward hitting ... After terrible first half our players recovered in the second half ... And take lead scoring two goals in 5 minutes but after that our defenders let us down ... In this match our opponent scored two goals in last minute of end of time in both halfs ... Bad sigh for us.
