I m disappointed with this result as Somi lost big opportunity to garnering ranking points which can helped him to achieve his aim of breaking inside top-100 before December ... More over he was highest seeded player remaining in top draw.

It looks today Saina played controlled game to score straigh games victory to moved into quarters ... In ladies doubles Jwala and Ashwini started well winning first game but lost in three games producing valiant effort.

Anand Pawar retired in first game ... After winning first game easily somehow 4th seed Diju and Jwala lost the plot ... In next 2 games they were up, in decider they were up by 4 points 16-12 then 17-13 after that by 2 points 18-16 but still they lost against British pair.

Huge upset by Guru ... After losing first game Guru came back strongly winning second game easily ... In decider bot players were going neck to neck but from down 10-11 Persson won 6 points on a row to take 16-11 lead but Guru kept fighting he also draw level to 17-all from 13-17 ... At 19-all Guru earned first match point and converted to script biggest victory of his career in 54 minutes ... His another first victory over top-10 type player.

He managed to win in straight games against Przemyslaw Wacha in only 34 minutes ... Baxter pushed Arvind Bhat to fullest in second game ... Arvind was 2 points away from losing match but he kept cool to win important points in second game and in third game he dominated to script victory in 1 hour 3 minutes ... Anand Pawar also started with win against similar ranked French player in straight games ... Aditi also take advantage of her weaker opponent to moved into second round.

Jwala and Ashwini started with win in ladies doubles ... It looks Jwala and Diju take time to adjust but after winning close first game they dominated second to move into second round ... Where thry r facing another British pair.

Saina stretched to third game by her Russian opponents ... Saina must be rusty after taking such long break ... In this match she needed comeback victory but hopefully from next match she finds her touch ... Chetan scored straight game victory and he is again facing local player in next round.
