Qualifier Sameer break our losing streak of Indians beating WR #12 Yun Hu in convincing fashion ... In this match Sameer didn't give much chance to Yun Hu as in both games he took lead from the beginning.

Srikanth scores really good win over local favorite and British top singles player Rajiv Ouseph in straight game ... In second match Harmeet Desai scored comeback win over Brazilian Cazuo Matsumoto from 1-2 games down ... Brazil won third match when Thiago Monteiro defeated Amalraj in five games ... In crucial match Soumyajit defeated Matsumoto in straight games ... In deciding rubber Harmeet defeated Hugo Calderano in four games for famous victory ... Our table tennis teams create history as both teams achieve promotion to next edition World Championship of Division 1 at Sweden.

Our men's team faced loss against Nigeria in group stage, so due to that loss they finished on 2nd position ... In Knock-out our players won first match against Hungary ... In their second match they faced Nigeria again but this time our team manged to turn table on them ... And in most important match against Egypt our team raised their games for winning it against Egypt, 3-1 ... Now for the top spot of 2nd Edition our men will be playing against Brazil.

Our women's team dominated group stage winning their all matches and in knock-out they received bye and in 2nd match again defeated Puerto Rico 3-1 ... And then in most important match for promotion our girls beat higher ranked Serbian team in comeback win ... Our team were 0-2 matches down but showed terrific resilient for winning next three matches and securing promotion for Division 1 ... For top spot they r facing Luxembourg girls.

Jitu Rai shows consistency in his shooting to lift Gold medal at Bangkok World cup beating challenge of two Chinese medal winners ... He raised his performance in right moment for winning this medal after qualifying on 3rd position ... This was good performance after disappointing outing for our experienced shooters Abhinav Bindra and Gagan Naran in yesterday's Mens 10 m Air rifle event ... Only young Pooja Ghatkar gave creditable performance for reaching the final first time and finishing creditable 4th position in Womens 10m Air rifle event.

Our challenge in men's singles is finished with losses of Srikanth and Kashyap ... After losing the first game Kashyap retired from midway of the second game due to injury ... Srikanth won the first game against Ng but failed to keep same intensity in next two games.
