Pankaj Advani and Aditya Mehta created history by qualifying for the Indian Open 2013, a major professional ranking event to be held in New Delhi for the first time from October 14-18 ... Pankaj defeated Matthew Selt comfortably to qualify this prestigious event ... In the first round he will facing Scottish Marcus Campbell.

Aditya started well against his top-40 Chinese opponent Guodong and won first 3 frames, in that he managed one century break ... But after that Guodong made excellent fightback and won next two frames with big breaks, he also scored century break in 5th frame ... In 6th frame Aditya played tactical game on the board and completed win with small breaks ... In the first round Aditya will face Britisher Peter Ebdon, 2002 World champion.
