Goal Scored - Sunil Chhetri (IND) 39' and 53', Jeje Lalpekhlua (IND) 47' and Mohd Sali Mohd Safee (MAS) 45' and 60'
Malaysians started positively with attacking on Indian post ... But Indians tried hard to keep possession which helped them to get back into the match ... Indians started attacking and scored goal in 39th minute by Sunil ... Malaysian responded immediately through Safee before end of the first half ... Indians take lead through Jeje in 2nd minute of the second half ... Sunil extended their lead in 53rd minutes but again Safee reduced lead due to mistake from defense ... Then Malaysians tried hard to equalised but Indians defended well ... This is India's first victory under new coach Savio Medeira in entertaining match.
