At 2011 Women's World Chess Championship, Tirana, Albania
Game 4 - Friday, November 18, 2011
Yifan Hou (CHN) ½-½ Humpy Koneru (IND)
In the fourth game of the match World champion Hou Yifan had advantage with white pieces ... Humpy Koneru had to defend the position that was not pleasant for her ... In the deep endgame White managed to win a pawn, but there were not many sources left for a fight – both players had a rook and a knight ... Humpy defended this endgame well despite being short on time and the opponents agreed a draw ... The game finished after 58 moves ... Today is the rest day but Yifan is still having 1 pt lead over Humpy, 2.5-1.5

At the 6th Tal Memorial, Moscow, Russia
Round 3 - Friday, November 18, 2011
Vladimir Kramnik ½ ½ Magnus Carlsen
Vassily Ivanchuk 0-1 Levon Aronian
Viswanathan Anand ½ ½ Ian Nepomniachtchi
Hikaru Nakamura 0-1 Peter Svidler
Boris Gelfand 0-1 Sergey Karjakin
This was literally 'black' day for White in third round as 3 out of 5 games ended in a win for Black, and even Carlsen's draw as Black against Kramnik was probably won in the final position.
