In the first game both players were togather until 9-all .. Saina opened 3 points lead from there and kept that to win the first game ... In the second game Saina take early 7-3 lead but Jie made it 7-all winning continuous 4 points ... Again Saina opened 4 points lead from 7-all ... Jie tried to reduce and managed to come near at 16-17 but Saina kept her cool to complete victory in 38 minutes.

Saina is facing Tine Baun in the quarters ... In their last meeting Saina won against this veteran former WR #1 but regular top-10 player in recent years in Indonesia Open.

In the first game Guru take early 8-4 lead but Pengyu fought back to make it 8-all ... Still both players were equal till 14-all ... From here Pengyu opened the lead to with the first game ... In the second game Guru take control early from 5-1 he increased his lead to 11-2 and 16-3 ... He won the second game very easily ... In the third game also Guru take early 8-3 lead which he kept increasing to score huge upset win and will face WR #2 Long Chen in the quarters.

Ajay joined Guru and Saina in this superseries quarters with comfortable win over his Malaysian opponent ... In the first game Ajay take lead winning 6 points continuously from 3-6 and kept that lead to won this game ... In the second game Hashim take early lead, he was leading 7-3 then 12-9 ... This time also Ajay won 6 points continuously to take lead and keep that to win this match.

Arvind and pair of Rupesh and Sanave failed to produce any fight against their respective WR #2 opponents.

Diju and Jwala were neck to neck against WR #2 Chinese pair till 14-all ... Chinese pair opened 2 points lead but Indian pair caught with them immediately, 16-all ... Again Chinese pair take couple of points lead and maintained to win this tight first game ... In the second game Diju and Jwala take 3-0 and 7-4 early lead but both time Chinese pair came back strongly to regained the lead ... From 11-all they kept increasing lead to won the second game and match in 29 minutes.
