Hou Yifan (CHN) 1-0 Humpy Koneru (IND)
In the 7th game Hou Yifan had white pieces ... Third time in the match they played Ruy Lopez ... After falling 2 points behinf Humpy take too many risks in the middle game ... She gave her opponent a chance to win a pawn that was immediately grabbed by Hou Yifan ... Then in the endgame the Chinese player took another pawn to secure her victory.
After 7 games the World champion is leading 5-2, only ½ point from defending her title and now only a miracle can help Koneru to win all of the remaining three games.
