Turned to be disappointing day for Indians ... Really forgettable performance by Saina and Kashyap in their respective matches.
Kashyap lost in one-sided match against Japanese Kento Momota in 30 minutes ... Arundhati also failed to produce any opposition against Yihan Wang and lost easily in 29 minutes.
Saina lost in long match against 19 yrs old Sun Yu in 75 minutes after winning the first game ... In the first game Saina opened couple of points lead from 4-all and which she kept increasing for winning this game ... In the second game Sun won 11 points in a row from 5-all to lead 16-5 ... Saina reduced that to 14-17 but Sun regained her composure and won the game converting 2nd game point ... In the decider Sun 8-5 lead but Saina made it 8-all ... After that Sun won next 7 points to lead 15-8 but this time also Saina fought back and won next 8 points to made it 15-all ... But from 17-all Sun won next 4 points for the upset win ... Sun outperformed Saina in the net game.
