Goal Scored - Sheikh Jewel Raja (IND) 13', Balwant Singh (IND) 62', K Singh (IND) 67', Manish Maithani (IND) 75' and Luo Zhenlun (SIN) 83'

In their last group match Indian boys needed big victory to keep alive their hope to qualify for final 16 and they delivered against Singapore team ... After taking early lead in second half Indian boys scored 3 goals in 15 mins to lead 4-0 before Singapore team managed to score a goal ... Only worrying sight is our team is conceding late goals, in all 3 matches they conceded late goals.

India’s only hope of progressing to the next round was by finishing as one of the four best 3rd placed teams ... India finished 3rd in Group D with three points with a goal difference of 0 ... Other three groups are still to be completed, but this win guarantees India's qualification to the round of 16 as they are assured of finishing at least above Uzbekistan and Maldives among the 6 third placed teams.

Goal Scored - D. Ravanan (IND) 18' and Jarrala Ali (QAT) 80' & 90+'

Asian Games defending gold medalists Qatar overcame Indian challenge to scored win ... We take early lead but failed to take advantage due to defensive mind set and allowed 2 late goals to lose match ... Jarrala Ali's last goal was just before hooter ... But overall improved performance by Indian side.

Goal Scored - Khaled Matar (KUW) 6' & 90+'

Newly crowned West Asian Champions proved too strong for Indian side who played defensive game in their first group match.

Goal Scored - Mustafa Kareem (IRQ) 17' P, Karim Mahidi (IRQ) 66'

Defending Asian Cup champions Iraq scored comfortable win over Indian side scoring a goal in each half ... They were deserving winner as they outplayed Indian side in all departments ... In later part of second half Indians played good move but they couldn't finish, more over our 2 best strikers, Bhaichung Bhutia and Sunil Chhetri, were out of this match due to injury but our bench strength didn't impress with their performance ... This was India's 5th defeat in 7 international friendly matches.
