Tarundeep Rai created history as he become the first Indian archer to win silver medal in the singles event at the Asian Games ... He lost final against WR #1 Korean archer Woojin Kim 3-7 ... Before that in semis he upset Chinese Taipei archer Chia Chun Sung 7-3 ... In quarter final he scored big upset win over WR #2 Korean archer Jinhyek Oh 6-4 ... In R16 he defeated Malaysian archer Chu Sian Cheng 6-2, in same round Rahul Banerjee lost his match against Chinese Taipei archer Chia Chun Sung 0-6 ... In first round he defeated Vietnamese archer Trong Kien Dao 5-1.

In boxing in Men's 75kg semi-final Vijener Singh defeated Iranian boxer Mohammad Sattarpour in closely fought bout 10-7 ... After first round Vijener was down 1-2 but he started taking control from second round when he was leading 5-4 and then increased lead in the final round to complete victory ... In the final Vijener will face Uzbek boxer Abbos Atoev ... In Super Heavyweight Men's 91kg Manpreet Singh scored dominating victory 10-2 over Tajikistan Jakhon Qurbonov ... He was too strong for Tajikistan boxer ... In the final he will face Syrian boxer Mohammad Ghossoun ... In Men's 60kg young 19yrs old Vikas Krishan continued with his good run scoring another dominating win over Uzbek's Hurshid Tojibaev 7-0 to moved into the final ... In the final Vikas is facing Chinese Qing Hu ... In Men's 81kg category Dinesh Kumar scored comfortable win over Nepalese boxer Deepak Maharjan 7-1 to moved into the final ... He will face Uzbek boxer Elshod Rasulov in the final ... Our another young boxer Santosh Kumar in 64kg category showed good skill and technique to upset Thai boxer Wuttichai Masuk 5-1 to reached in the final ... In the final he is facing Kazakhstan boxer Daniyar Yeleussinov ... In Men's 52kg category Suranjoy Singh Mayengbam lost close bout against Chinese boxer Yong Change 5-6 ... This was shocking result as Suranjoy Singh was consider as Gold medal hope ... In the men's +91 kg category Paramjeet Samota lost one-sided match against Chinese Zhilei Zhang, he was 3-15 down when referee stopped bout and declared Chinese boxer winner through technical knock-out ... In men's boxing categories our 5 boxers r in the final and we won 2 Bronze medals.

In boxing in Women's 69-75kg Kavita Goyat lost to China's Jinzi Li 1-5 ... In Women's 48-51kg category Mary Kom lost against Chinese opponent Cancan Ren 7-11 ... Mery Kom need to do lot of adjustment before Olympics to participate in this higher weight category ... So our both woman boxers won Bronze.

In squash Indian men lost to Pakistan 0-2 and Indian women lost to Malaysian side 0-2 in semis, so both teams won Bronze medals.

In athletics in women's 400 hurdles Ashwini clocked 56.43 with her PB to win heat 1 and then Jauna Murmu clocked 57.17 her PB to win heat 2, so good chance of Gold medal in this event after 24 yrs when PT Usha won Gold medal at Seoul ... In men's 400m hurdles Abraham Joseph with 50.93 having second best qualifying time for the final ... In 800m heat Tintu (2:04.84) and Sinimol (2:03.83) qualified to the final ... They are 3rd and 4th in the heats timings behind Matsko (2:03.23) and Truong (2:04.24) ... In 200m men Suresh Sathya won his heat with 21.02 and made it to the final ... His timing was 3rd best timing in the heats ... In 200m women Geeta Satti qualified for the final 24.08, but had only a 7th best timing ... In Men's Discus Final Vikas Gowda finished on fourth with a 63.13.

In womens hockey Indian women lost against Japanese women 1-0 in Bronze medal match when Japan scored goal in extra-time on penalty corner.

In chess 7th round Indian men hold 2-all by lowly ranked Iranian team ... Sasikiran Krishnan scored victory but Gopal's loss cost us victory ... Our women scored dominating 4-0 win over Syrian girls as our all players won their matches.

In Kabbadi our women team qualified for semi-final winning their all matches in the group, in last match they defeated South Korean team 47-21 .. And our men also scored victory over South Koreans in close match then expected 37-19.

In Karate in Women's -50 kg Valena Valentina didn't play her Bronze medal match after getting injured in semi-final loss against Chinese opponent.

In volleyball for Men's Placement 5-8 match Indian side scored thumping win over Qatar 3-0, 25-23 25-16 25-17, so now for 5th place match they will play against Chinese team.

In wrestling Men's freestyle our all 3 wrestlers failed to win medal ... Pradeep Kumar and Ram Vir lost their bronze medal matches and Narsingh Yadav lost in quarter-final.
