In mens hockey we comfortably defeated Bangladesh 9-0, Sandeep Singh scored 4 goals in the match but other hand Pakistan also scored more dominating victory over Hong Kong, 12-0 ... Our next crucial pool match is against Pakistan ... But Indian women lost 0-1 in crucial match against Korea.

In boxing mens 60 kg category impressive performance by a reigning world youth champion and youth Olympics Bronze medalist Vikas Krishnan against a gold medallist from the prestigious King''s Cup Thai Saylom Ardee, 8-1 ... In mens 75 kg category Vijender Singh was down 1-2 against Chinese Taipei's Yang Yi Ting after second round but in the final round Vijender showed attacking boxing skill to won bout 9-4.

In tennis Mens doubles Karan and Vishnu moved into R16 with comfortable win over Hong Kong pair ... In women doubles Poojashree and Rushmi lost in one-sided match against Japanese pair.

In golf only Rashid Khan managed to score under par round ... Rashid Khan scored hole-in-one on Par3 7th hole in this round ... He is one under after first round, 3 strokes behind Philipino leader and tied for 5th position ... He was 3 under after 17 holes but scored double bogey on last hole ... In team event India is on +11 , four strokes behing 3rd place Srilankan team ... They r tied with Chinese team for 9th place.

Virdhawal Khade won his heat in the 100 metres Fly with 51.25 secs but could not make it into the final as cut-off was 50.91 secs.

In badminton Saina started with comfortable win over her Malaysian opponent Lydia Cheah, 21-15 21-17, to moved into quarters ... But Aditi lost to 4th seed Hirose in 3 games ... Arvind Bhat recieved bye from his Srilankan opponent but surprising loss of Kashyap against Vietnameses player Tien Minh in straight games ... Vishnu and Aparna lost in MXD against Japanese pair after winning first game.

In women waterpolo we also lost our final round-robin match to Uzbekistan 2-20.

In mens basketball we lost against Chinese Taipei.
