The FIFA Rankings - 16th August 2018,
#96 India 1242 pts.
The FIFA replaced its much-criticised previous formula and declared new ranking under ELO type formula ... The FIFA removed an annual average points and weightage of the points on basis of which part of world it played etc. ... India has climbed one place to 96th under the new FIFA ranking ... Good to see that we didn't drop and probably a little over-ranked but it is better ... The German team affected more as they were WR#1 in old formula but because they failed to cross group stage in the WC they slide to #15 and the World Cup winner France becomes new #1 team.
Putting my efforts to support Indian players with publishing their results for fans all over the world and also for benefit of media people.
