In shooting under Men's Double Trap, 15 yrs. old Shardul Vihan won a silver ... He lost by a single hit against experienced Korean shooter ... Before that in the qualifying, Shardul hits 141 for topping it.
In the Women's Double Trap, our shooters Shreyasi Singh and Varsha Varman finished on the 6th and the 7th positions.
In the tennis, Ankita wins her first medal in Asian games ... She lost the semis to top-35 Chinese girl Shuai Zhang after giving a credible fight ... Before that Ankita scored some confident wins ... For reaching the semis helped her to grab a bronze.
In Kabaddi, the first time we failed to win a gold in men's event ... After losing to South Korea in the group we faced Iran in the semis ... Iranian team proved a better defensive unit and we lost easily for getting a bronze.
In the Artistic Gymnastics women's vault final, our two girls finished in top-8, Aruna on the 7th and Pranati on the 8th position.
In the Swimming Men's 50m Butterfly, In heat Veerdhawal clocked new national record of 24.09sec to qualify for the final but ended in the 8th position in the final ... Srihari Nataraj finished on the 6th position in Men's 200m backstroke final after creating a new national record of 2:02.83sec.
