In Athletics, Tajinder Singh threw 20.75M throw and bagged a Gold medal in the men's Shotput and also created new Asian Games men's shot put record ... He was more than one meter ahead of the second place Chinese shot-putter ... In other events, Our athletes failed to raise their performance and ended outside medals in 10k women and the hammer throw women.
In the squash, our all three top squash players lost in the singles semis to confirm bronze medals ... Saurav and Joshana lost against lower ranked opponents and Dipika lost against former WR #1 Nicol David.
In bowling, our team finished on the 13th place.
We have 7 Gold, 5 Silver and 17 Bronze.
