Anand continued with his good run in this Premier event ... He scored very dominating win over top-25 Spanish player to moved into the second round ... He will face winner between Kashyap and WR #1 Chong Wei Lee in the second round.
Saina started with comfortable win against Thai top player, Porntip Buranaprasertsuk ... She won her match in only 31 mins to move in the second round ... She will face Chinese Taipei's Tai.
Other hand easy loss of Ajay against higher ranked Indonesian and Kashyap failed to put fight against WR #1 Malaysian Chong Wei Lee.
Jwala and Ashwini lost against Singaporean pair ... In both games our pair was neck to neck until 12-all before Singaporean pair take control of the game.
In the first game German pair take early lead but Jwala and Diju managed to make it 10-all ... But German pair won 4 pts from 13-12 to take control of the game and won it comfortably ... In the second game our pair managed to lead by couple of points before German pair managed to make it 13-all ... Diju and Jwala won 5 pts in a row from 13-15 to take control ... They wasted 3 game points but managed to save a match point before converting 4th game point to won the second game ... In the third game both pairs were exchanging lead ... German pair won 4 pts in a row from 7-8 to take lead but Indian pair won 5 pts in a row from 9-12 to regained the lead ... Still German pair managed to catch them at 19-all ... Then German pair saved two match points but Indian pair kept pressure and completed their victory converting 3rd match point ... Good fighting win for Indians against 8th seed German pair ... Next our pair is facing unseeded British-Scottish pair.
