Last week PV Sindhu won $15K Swiss International title ... Sayali Gokhale reached in the semis before losing to German Carola Bott ... In women's doubles youngsters Pradnya Gadre and Prajakta Sawant lifted their first International title beating like 2nd seed Swedish and 4th seed Swiss pairs ... Our men's doubles pair Pranav Chopra and Akshay Dewalkar lost in the final against 2nd seed Polish team ... So overall good tournament except little disappointing performance in men's singles.
This week French Superseries r going on ... Chetan and Guru qualified for maindraw but both lost in the first round ... Chetan retired from the match against local player after losing the first game ... Gur started well taking the first game against his senior Ajay Jayaram but Ajay dominated next 2 games to move in the second round ... He is facing tough challenge of WR #6 Chinese Jin Chen.
In MXD Diju and Jwala failed to produce fight against WR #3 Indonesian pair ... Rupesh and Sanave also failed to convert good start into the win ... Jwala and Ashwini scored good fighting win over higher ranked Korean pair and next they r facing another Korean pair but this time WR #6 pair.
Saina scored very dominating win over Jie Yao in 29 minutes ... In this match Saina hit 22 smashes winners and in comparison Jie Yao managed only one ... But next Saina is having tricky match against Chinese Xuerui Li ... Saina having 1-2 win-loss record against Xuerui ... In their last meeting at Thailand Open Grand Prix Gold 2011, Xuerui scored very dominating win, 21-13 21-12.
