Goal Scored - Gurwinder Singh Chandi (IND) 5', Yuvraj Walmiki (IND) 21', Rupinder Pal Singh (IND) 41' PC, Rajpal Singh (IND) 43', V Raghunath (IND) 62' PC
Terrific start for Indian men side ... They thumped young Chinese sie in one-sided match ... We were leading 2-0 at half-time and they scored 3 goals more in the second ... Ravi Pal, Gurbaz and Vikas Sharma played well in mid-field and Rupinder Pal Singh was terrific in defence ... After match Indian coach Nobbs commented he was happy with the victory but admitted that a lot of work needed to be done in the next games.
