19 yrs old Krishan Vikas was impressive in his first match of this weight category, before this he was playing in 60 kg ... Vikas started attackingly in the first round which helped him to win it 8-3 ... After that Vikas played taking less risk but still managed to win the second 4-3 and the final round 4-3 to complete impressive victory ... Next he is facing 7th seed experienced Belarus boxer Mahamed Nurudzinau, who is current silver medalist in 2011 European Confederation Boxing championships.

Paramjeet Samota became first Indian boxer to lose in the first round of 2011 World Championship ... Slow start against Lithuanian boxer cost him the match ... In the first round Paramjeet was too cautious and Subacius managed to win the round 3-1 ... From the second round both boxers matched each other, Paramjeet managed to win it 6-5 ... In the final round Subacius managed to win it with similar 6-5 score so the first round score became important which helped Subacius to won this match.
