In the doubles tie Rio Gold medalist Spanish pair of Rafael Nadal and Marc Lopez defeated Indian pairing of Saki and Lee in very entertaining match and book their place in next year's Davis cup World Group ... Indians started slowly and Saki was struggling early ... Spanish pair took advantage of Saki's poor net game for breaking Lee in 4th game ... Indians were 1-4 down, from here suddenly Indians started returning superbly ... Indians won five games in a row and in that they broke Lopez in 7th game and Rafa in 9th game for winning the set ... In second set in third game superb returning by Indians on Lopez serve from 40-15 we won four points in a row for breaking him ... In that two exclusive shots by Saki to pass Rafa on returning of serve, first one was down the line and second one was cross-court backhand ... But Saki lost his serve in 10th game while serving for the set, Saki made couple of mistakes with superb returning by Spanish pair ... On next game Indians missed 2 break points on Lopez's serve ... In tie-break Spanish pair took double break on Saki's serve for leading 5-0 and kept that advantage for winning this set ... In the third set Saki struggled near the net and Spanish took full advantage and broke Lee in 3rd game and kept that advantage for winning this set ... In the fourth Indians again started positively ... They broke Rafa in 2nd game for taking 3-0 lead ... At 4-2 Saki again straggled on his service game as he failed to put first serve in ... And Spanish pair was targeting Saki near the net ... After multiple deuce they broke him and again broke Lee in 9th game for winning the set and tie ... In this match Lee showed his class with as usual superb net game and Saki was good in patches from baseline but he struggled more on the net ... What I liked our pair's chemistry ... They were showing lot of understanding for each other's game and complimenting ... For Saki this is learning experience of playing with these many grand slam winners ... Tomorrow I m hoping Sumit Nagal will make debut in one of return singles.
