At Davis Cup World Group Play-off 2016, New Delhi, India
India vs Spain 0-2
Day one
[R1] Ramkumar Ramanathan (IND,203) l Feliciano Lopez (ESP,26) 46 46 63 16
[R2] Saketh Myneni (IND,137) l David Ferrer (ESP,13) 16 26 16
Rafa decided to not play in the first match but still Spain had enough talent to slaughter us in first 2 matches ... RamK's backhand was exposed against Lopez, he kept ball to RamK's backhand and then RamK did required unforced errors ... He took advantage of Lopez's mistake in the third but afterwards it was one way traffic in favor of Lopez ... In the second match Saki struggled with his own serve and Ferrer kept ball low which Saki failed to adjust/ understand ... Saki was no match to Ferrer's match though Saki broke Ferrer in 6th game of the second set after 0-5 down ... Overall both players were too superiors from our players .. Hoping for better scoreline in tomorrow's doubles match.
