After ninth day India has four gold, five Silvers and twenty six Bronze medals.

Yogeshwar Dutt win's Gold medal in Freestyle 65kg and after 28 yrs we manage to win Gold medal in wrestling ... In the final Yogeshwar beats Zalimkhan Yusupov of Tajikistan in close match as Yusupov was defending well ... Before this in the semis Yogeshwar made amazing recovery from 1-5 down against Chinese wrestler ... When last few seconds were remaining at that time Yogeshwar was 7-9 down before he managed to pin down his opponent in the dying moments of the match to win via 'victory by fall' verdict ... Other hand Satywart Kadian and Babita Kumari lost in Bronze medal matches as they went down in men's 97kg freestyle and women's 55kg freestyle.

Khushbir Kaur became the first Indian woman to win a medal in race walking in the Asian Games as she won a silver in 20km event ... In men's event K T Irfan finished fifth ... Experienced Poovamma make up for a slow start and get the bronze in 52.36, well below her personal best of 51.73 in Women's 400m ... Arokia Rajiv clocked a personal best time of 45.92s for the bronze medal in Men's 400m ... Manju Bala finished third in the women's hammer throw with a best throw of 60.47m but almost 14m less than Silver medalist Wang Zheng.

In boxing Mary Kom (51kg), L Sarita Devi (60kg) and Pooja Rani (75kg) entered the semi-finals of their respective weight categories with commanding victories ... In that Mary Kom's win over Chinese Si Haijuan was creditable.

In tennis, Sania Mirza and Prarthana Thombare settled for a bronze after losing their women's doubles semi-final to Chinese Taipei's Chin Wei Chan and Su Wei Hsiehin, 76(1) 26 4-10 ... Yuki Bhambri won a bronze in the men's event after unforced errors cost him the semi-final against Japan's Yoshihito Nishioka, 63 26 16 ... Divij-Yuki played error prone game to lose against Korean pair, 76(8) 67(6) 9-11 ... Our pair had 2 match points in the second set tie-break, 6-4 ... In match tie-break our pair take 5-0 lead and after they messed up ... They had lead at 8-7 and 9-8 but failed to convert ... Saketh Myneni got himself in line for two gold medals by reaching the finals of both men's doubles and mixed doubles events ... Saketh and Sanam Singh overcame experienced Thai twins Sanchai and Sonchat Ratiwatana 46 63 10-6 in the men's doubles semi-finals ... Saketh and Sania to reach the mixed doubles final with a convincing 61 63 win over Chinese pair of Zie Zheng and Ze Zhang.

India's Yashaan Zubin Khambatta, riding a horse named Olgy, qualified for the Equestrian Jumping Individual Final Round.

Indian men's volleyball team put up a spirited fight against the much-fancied South Korea before losing 22-25, 25-27, 18-25 in a closely contested group E play-off match.

In Canoeing and Kayaking, Indians entered the finals of five men's and one women's events, with Gaurav Tomar even winning his semi-final race in the men's 1000m C1 event at the Hanam Misari Center and the duo of S Ajit Kumar and Rajiv Rawat taking the second place in men's 1000m C2.
