After second day India has three medals from shooting; one gold and two bronze.

In closely fought Men's 10m Pistol event India finish on third place to win Bronze ... Gold medal winner South Koreans had 1 more point from Indian team and Silver medalist Chinese team had sme points but had 1 extra shots on bulls eye ... Still creditable performance by Indian team consist of Jitu Rai, Samaresh Jung and Prakash Nanjappa for winning the Bronze ... Other hand Jitu missed chance of winning another individual medal as he finished on 5th position in the final after qualifying for the final on 2nd place with 585 pts.

In Trap Men our all three shooters showed disappointing performance as nobody managed to finish inside top-10 and In team event India finished on 6th position with 341/375 hits.

In badminton women's semi-final, Saina started with three games win over Korean Sung Ji Hyun but Sindhu lost after winning the first game against Bae Yeon Ju ... After that our young doubles pair failed to challenge Korean pair and Thulasi also lost her singles match without much fight ... Still with this we secure our first-ever team Bronze in Asian games.

In Squash Dipika score hard fought win over Joshana in five games thriller ... With this win Dipika secure her Bronze as semi-finalist ... Saurav also guaranteed her Bronze medal as he beats Pakistani Iqbal Nasir in four games.

Our Men's team start with dominating win against Nepal ... They lose only one game in three matches but next they r facing top-seed team.

In hockey Indian men start with comfortable win over Sri Lanka ... This match was played with new rule, i.e. the duration of the game has been reduced from 70 to 60 minutes, with four quarters of 15 minutes each.

Indian women fails to qualify for quarter-final after one-sided loss against Thai girls.

In Basket ball our men's lose close mach against Saudi Arabia.

In Handball our women draw with Thailand and our men's team lose against South Korean team.

In Dressage Individual Shruti Vora and Nadia Haridass qualify for next stage.

In Gymnastic Ashish Kumar and Rakesh Patra qualify for next stage in All Around event.

Overall good day in Rowing as our all rowers move to next stage.
