In Men's 25m Centre Fire Pistol event our military of Vijay Kumar, Pemba Tamang and Gurpreet Singh win Silver medal in team event but in the individual event all three fails to qualify for the final ... The Indian women team of Lajja Gauswami, Anjali Bhagwat and Tejaswini Muley finished sixth in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Team Finals ... Lajja qualify for the fianl in 4th place but in end finished on 7th postion with 401.1 pts.
We win rare medal in swimming as Sandeep Sejwal wins Bronze medal in the 50m breaststroke ... He is only third swimmer after Khazan Singh in 1986 and Veerdhawal Khade in 2010 ... Sandeep qualified for the final as 2nd best timing ... But in the final Kazakh and Japanese swimmers were too quick ... Still creditable performance by Sandeep in swimming event.
In Squash our both teams are in the final and facing Malaysian teams for Gold medal ... Our women's hockey team thrashed Malaysian girls 6-1 for entering into next stage ... Our recurve archers failed to raise their game and lose before medal matches ... In badminton Saina lose against Yihan Wang ... Akhil Kumar and Amritpreet Singh lose their respective bouts ... Other hand Shiva Thapa and Kuldeep Singh are in the quarters ... In th e tennis our five pairs and individuals r in the quarters.
