Sapsiree Taerattanachai stretched Saina to three games ... Saina won the first game easily but Sapsiree fought back and won close second game ... Saina kept her focus in the third and won the match ... Next she is facing Indonesian qualifier ... Top-seed Xuerui Li lost in the first round against Korean Yeon Ju Bae.

Sindhu scored comfortable win over her Thai opponent Busanan Ongbumrungpan ... Next she is facing WR #4 Juliane Schenk ... After injury break Kashyap was playing his first match ... He played crucial points well enough to win his match in straight games ... Next he is facing WR #6 Japanese Kenichi Tago.

Sourabh continued with his upset wins ... He defeated Indonesian Rumbaka in three games ... Rumbaka take 7-0 lead and won the first game easily ... In the second game Sourabh take early 4-1 lead which he kept increasing 13-5 then 15-8 ... Rumbaka saved 3 game points from 11-20 but Sourabh converted 4th game point ... In the third game Sourabh take 8-2 lead winning 6 points in a row but Rumbaka fought back winning next 5 points, 7-8 ... After that Sourabh take 10-7 then 14-11 and 18-16 lead but all the time Rumbaka caught him ... Sourabh had 3 match points at 20-17 but Rumbaka won next 4 points to lead 21-10 ... Sourabh also scored 2 match points before converting 4th match point for winning this match in an hour ... Next he is facing WR #9 Vietnamese Tien Minh Nguyen.

Jwala and Diju played their first match after London Olympics and scored comfortable win over German pair ... Next they r facing 8th seed Polish pair ... Our other two mixed doubles pair lost easily against their respective Asian pairs.
