In Boy's section, 15 yrs old Sumit started positively and managed to win the first set against WR #8 and 18 yrs old Japanese Kaichi Uchida ... But after that Kaichi Uchida overpowered his young opponent and won next two sets losing only two games ... Still creditable performance by Sumit Nagal to qualify for US open beating two 18 yrs old seeded players.

Disappointing results in mixed doubles, our both pairs lost in the quarters ... Third seed Lee and Elena lost against seventh seed Czech pair in tight two sets ... Sania and Colin also raised to their game against fourth seed pair and lost in straight sets.
