Ajay dominated the second game before little stretched in the first game by Wong ... Sourabh continued with his impressive performance against higher ranked opponent, this time Taiwani player ... He won the first game comfortably ... In the second game from 8-all he opened 3 points lead and kept increasing to win this game converting 3rd match point ... Kashyap won the first game but Guru fought back to win the second ... In the third game Guru take 6-0 lead then extended to 11-1 ... Guru won last 7 points in a stretch to complete the victory ... I m hoping no injury issue with Kashyap ... Top-15 Thai Porntip started confidently and won the first game comfortably against Sindhu but Sindhu made excellent comeback in the match and won the second game losing only 7 points ... In the final game Porntip take 11-6 lead but Sindhu caught with her at 14-all and from 16-all she take couple of points lead ... Sindhu maintained that lead to complete upset victory over Porntip.
Our 8th seed MXD pair of Ashwini and Tarun lost easily in the first round against Malaysians.
In the quarters Ajay is facing Sourabh ... Guru is facing top-seed and WR #3 Long Chen ... Sindhu is facing WR #2 and London Olympics gold medalist Xuerui Li.
