Lee and Radek started with comfortable straight sets win over German pair ... Next they r facing Brazilian pair.

But Rohan and Mahesh lost in the straight sets against young Aussie opponents ... After losing the first set our pair stretched Aussies to tie-break but failed to win it ... I m wondering may be this was Mahesh's last match in US open men's doubles.

Sania had a winning start in MXD with her new British partner Colin Fleming ...

Both pairs traded early breaks in the first set ... Purav and Adil take crucial break in 9th game and win the set after holding their serve ... Daescu and Hubble take control from the second set and won it comfortably with double break ... They controlled the match tie-break and converted second match point to score upset win.

Prajnesh scored big upset win over 3rd seed Slovak Sikora in 3 sets ... After winning the first set Prajnesh was up with break but Sikora fought back and won it but in the decider Sikora was tired and Prajnesh take advantage to complete victory ... His first win against top-500 player ... Next he is facing 17 yrs old 5th seed Czech player.
