At 2nd FINA World Junior Swimming Championship, Monterrey, Mexico

In 100 Meter Freestyle final Virdhawal finished on 7th position clocking 50.70sec ... Not good finish by his own standard, but very creditable performance by him in his first World Junior Swimming Championship.

Congrats Virdhawal for becoming first Indian swimmer to qualify for the final of World Junior Swimming Championship ... He qualified to the final in 3 events, 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle and 200m freestyle ... Created National records in all 3 events.
