Shiva Thapa couldn't take his revange of losing in the final at the AIBA Youth World Championships earlier this year from Cuban ... Today he lost close bout ... Cuban take early lead with winning first round 2-0 ... In second round both boxers were tied on 2-2, so Cuban boxer was leading 4-2 ... In the last round he defended well and won round 1-0.

In Men's Light Weight (60kg) category Lithuanian boxer won gold with convincing victory over Australian boxer, 13-4 ... So in this category at Junior level Vikas and Evaldas r truely top 2 boxers ... Earlier this year in the AIBA Youth World Championships Vikas won gold medal beating Lithuanian Evaldas Petrauskas with 4-3 score, with same score he lost against him in the Youth Olympics semis.

Though we failed to win a Gold medal in this 1st Youth Olympics still our juniors performed well to give us hope for future.

We finished with 6 Silver and 2 Bronze medals.
