Mike scored comfortable win over Pankaj to lift his 10th World Championship title, simply showing why he known as 'The emperor of English Billiards' ... Before final Pankaj only got an hour rest after his 5 hours 30 mins marathon semi-final match against Peter Gilchrist ... In the first game Pankaj scored 3 forty plus breaks but with help of break of 129 pts Mike won first game ... In next 4 games Mike didn't give any chance to Pankaj scoring breaks of 145, 128, 92 and 149 (unf) to take 5-0 lead ...In 6th game Pankaj had a chance but he missed long shot after break of 80 and Mike take full advantage of that mistake to finished match in 6th game ... Mike won the world title and prize money US $6000 as total prize money (including US $4000 sponsors’ prize) and Pankaj received US $1800 (including sponsors’ prize US $1000) ... Geet Sethi (India) and Peter Gilchrist (Singapore) were awarded Bronze medals.
