At Asia-Oceania Group II 2012, Shenzhen, China
Promotional Play-Off
India bt Hong Kong, China 2-1
Rutuja Bhosale (IND,789) l Wing-Yau Venise Chan (HKG,534) 46 16
Sania Mirza (IND,111) bt Ling Zhang (HKG,220) 57 60 61
Isha Lakhani (IND)/ Sania Mirza (IND) bt Wing-Yau Venise Chan (HKG)/ Ling Zhang (HKG) 67(7) 61 75
Very close match than expected but at least we managed to move into Asia-Oceania Group I after scoring comeback win ... Slow start in both matches for Sania but she responded when needed ... As per her tweet she was almost five and half hours on the court ... May be Rutuja tired in this match as she was on the court in all Indian ties.

At $50K Burnie Challenger, Australia
Doubles Final
(4) Divij Sharan (IND)/ Vishnu Vardhan (IND) l (WC) John Peers (AUS)/ John-Patrick Smith (AUS) 26 46
I thought this final against these US collegians will be tough ... Both Australians were big server and din't give any chance on their serve ... In the first set they take early 5-1 lead with 2 breaks to won the first set ... In the second set they take crucial break on Divij's serve in 5th game and that single break was enough to win the set and match.
