In the first set Sania broke Anne in 2nd game to take 3-0 lead but Anne broke back Sania 5th game to make it 3-all ... Sania take crucial break in 10th game when Anne was serving stay in the set ... In the second set Anne broke Sania in 3rd game but Sania fought back and broke her in 6th game to 3-all ... Sania hold her next couple of service games with ease ... In 11th game Sania failed to hold her serve easily, from 40-0 she gave Anne chance of taking it in deuce with double fault, saved couple of break points before holding it after six deuces ... Sania broke Anne in 12th game converting first match point to completed excellent victory.

In doubles quarter-final also Sania and Anastasia Rodionova scored straight sets victory over local pair Wongteanchais.

In singles quarter-final Sania will face Tapei qualifier Hsieh Su-Wei, who upset Kimiko Date-Krumm in the second round.

Yuki started with breaking Stefan serve in 1st game but lost his own serve in next game, 1-all ... Yuki failed to convert break point in 3rd and lost his serve in 6th game, 2-4, but this time Yuki broke back to make it 3-4 ... In 8th game Yuki saved 3 break points from 0-40 to hold his serve ... In 9th game Yuki wasted 2 break points and served 2 double faults to lose his serve and the set ... In the second set Yuki got broken in 4th game and 8th game to lose this match ... Yuki had a few chances of breaking back but in this match Yuki struggled with his game ... His service returns weren't accurate ... He made numerous double faults (8) and failed to raise his game ... Disappointing performance after good first round win ... Also he lost in doubles first round against 4th seeds.
