Leander lifted the Chennai title for the 6th time with his 48th tour-level doubles trophy and Janko's first doubles title. ... Today Janko showed tremendous commitment on the court before doubles final he played 3 hours 15 minutes singles final against Canadian Raonic ... Janko lost that final in 3 closely fought tie-breaks, 76(4) 67(4) 67(4), but came back on the court and won the doubles title with Leander.
In the first set Paes and Tipsarevic take a 3-0 lead with double break before Israeli pair broke back but one break advantage was enough to won the first set ... In the second set also Paes and Tipsarevic broke Erlich in 1st game but Israeli pair immediately broke back breaking Lee's serve to make it 1-all ... In 4th game on Janko's serve Israeli had 2 break points but Lee and Janko saved those ... In 9th game Paes put pressure on Erlich's serve with excellent returns and net game ... With Tipsarevic's help he broke Erich's serve and then Lee served for the match ... He hold comfortably to completed straight sets victory after 74 minutes.
