Silver - Yongde JIN (CHN) (150 sec - 97 97) 194 (20 sec - 97 96) 193 (10 sec - 92 92) 185 = 572 pts (15xS-off: 43)
Bronze - Tomohiro KIDA (JPN) (150 sec - 95 95) 188 (20 sec - 95 97) 192 (10 sec - 92 96) 188 =

Vijay Kumar won a gold medal at the Asian Shooting Championships when he finished on top in the Standard Pistol event in Doha but again no Olympic quota as this is not Olympic event ... Vijay Kumar scored 572/600 to tie for the lead with Yongde Jin of China but Vijay Kumar's tally of 17 inner tens to Jin's 15 helped him to win the gold.
Our other 2 shooters disappointed so we missed a medal in team ranking ... Samresh Jung scored 552 to finish 16th and Mahavir Singh finished 24th with a score of 542.
