[R1] (WC) N. Sriram Balaji (IND)/ Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan (IND) l (2) Scott Lipsky (USA)/ Rajeev Ram (USA) 57 46
Jeevan and Sriram played excellent match against experienced pair ... In the first set Balaji lost his serve in 3rd game but our pair immediately broke Ram's serve to make it 2-all ... In 5th game Jeevan lost his serve but again this young pair broke Lipsky to make it 3-all ... Jeevan had terrific net game and played some superb lobs ... Balaji had big serve but lost his serve in 11th game and then Ram hold comfortably to won the first set ... In the second set again Balaji lost his serve in 3rd game ... After that our pair had break point chances but they failed to win important points and 2nd seed kept their advantage to complete victory ... Overall promising performance by Jeevan and Balaji.

Saketh Myneni had a tougher match than expected but importantly winning start for new season for him ... His opponent Hsien-Yin Peng played 3 matches in qualifying so he had adjusted to court and condition more than Saketh.
