Commonwealth Games 2010
At XIX Commonwealth Games 2010, New Delhi

Today India won 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze ... So our tally is 36 Gold, 26 Silver and 34 Bronze medals and we r in 3rd position behind Australia and England.

In boxing Suranjoy Mayengbam of India has won the flyweight final after a walkover from his opponent ... Manoj Kumar won second boxing Gold with convincing victory over British boxer Bradley Saunders 11-2 ... Paramjeet Samota played intelligent bout to won Super Heavy Weight Gold medal beating Tariq Abdul Haqq 5-1.

In table tennis, Achanta Sharath Kamal and Subhajit Saha lost in mens singles semi-final but they r in doubles final beating British pair saving match point from 1-2 down ... In doubles final they take revenge of their singles losses against Singaporean pair Ning Gao and Zi Yang .. They won final by 3-2, 9-11 12-10 11-4 5-11 11-8 ... Poulomi Ghatak and Mouma Das lost easily against Singaporean pair in womens semi-final.

On last day in shooting our shooters managed only 1 silver and bronze ... In Singles 10m Air Pistol Women, Heena Sidhu failed to win Gold medal by 0.3 pts, due to not so accurate shooting ... Samaresh Jung won Bronze in Singles 25m Standard Pistol Men event ... In another disappointing performance Gagan Narang failed to qualify for the final and Hariom Singh finished 8th in Singles 50m Rifle Prone Men event.

In badminton men's single Bronze Medal Match, Kashyap Parupalli defeated his senior partner Chetan Anand in straight games, 21-15 21-18, to won Bronze medal.
