Commonwealth Games 2010
At XIX Commonwealth Games 2010, New Delhi
Today India won 6 Gold, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze medals ... We still manage to hold 2nd position with 20 Gold, 16 Silver and 12 Bronze Medal.
Again our shooters won 3 Gold medals ... Gagan won his 3rd Gold medal, Vijay Kumar and Omkar Singh won their 2nd Gold medal.
In wresting our women won 2 Gold and 1 Silver medal.
In Archery women managed to win Recurve Team Gold medal but our WR #1 Men lost against Aussie in semis so they ende winning only Bronze.
Ashish Kumar created history in Gymnastic winning Silver medal in Vault event.
Our Women Hockey our team defeated Trinidad and Tobago 7-0 in Pool A match.
Our boxers moved into quarters with comfortable win.
In tennis Somdev and Sania r in singles final in contrasting wins ... In the final Sania is facing top-seed Australain Anastasia Rodionova and Somi is facing Australian 5th seed Greg Jones ... But in mens doubles our both top 2 seeds, Lee & Hesh and Somi & Bops, lost in semis ... Nirupama Sanjeev and Poojashree also lost in 3 sets against 3rd seed Aussie pair.
