Boxing -
Men's Bantam (54kg) Quarterfinal 3

Akhil Kumar (IND) l Veaceslav Gojan (Maldova) 3-10

1-1 after first round
2-2 after second round
2-6 after third round
3-10 after fourth round

Surprising meltdown ( I know little harsh word but using it from final points ... sorry about it. ) by Akhil ... I think Maldovan Veaceslav Gojan turned in to very good tactical boxer, who matched Akhil's un-orthodox style ... So with that another medal hope evaporated, now all hopes r pinned on Jitender and Vijender.

Akhil and Jitender r un-orthodox style boxers ( having similar style) but they can be struggle against technically good boxer and today I think that happened with Akhil.

Men's Triple Jump Qual. Round

35 Renjith Maheswary (IND) 15.77 mtrs

Very poor jump from Renjith, who almost a meter below his season best of 16.53 mtrs and well below his personal best 17.04 mtrs ... He finished 35th in 39th atheletes.

So Neha's challenge got over in first round ... But hopefully this 18 yrs old girl use this Olympics experiance to succeed further in her career.
