In a nail-biting match, our women managed to overcome strong resistance from the US women to qualify for the Tokyo Olympic ... Today our eves' performance was exactly the opposite of yesterday's match ... They came under pressure from the beginning when the US women scored 1st goal in the 5th minute ... Indian women got panicked when US women scored the 2nd goal in the first quarter ... The second quarter also dominated by US women, they scored 2 more goals and at the half-time, both teams aggregated 5-all and advantage was with the US team ... In the first half, our team was dis-organized, struggled with their game plan and dis-oriented ... In the second half, our team played an improved game ... They defended well and put pressure on the US team ... A most crucial goal scored by our captain Rani Rampal at the beginning of the fourth quarter ... After that, US women tried hard but we defended well as a unit ... But I am still getting confused to see that our long ball clearance, in that, we lose possession and give an opportunity to the opponent for an attack.
