P.V. Sindhu becomes the first Indian World Championships winner, but technically she is our second world champion ... Prakash Padukone won the World Cup in 1981, at that time the World Cup considered as a World Championships.
Sindhu dominated the final and comfortably won her match against the former World Champion Nozomi Okuhara inside 40 minutes losing only 14 points.
