Sindhu is in a medal round with stunning win over London Games silver medalist Yihan Wang of China ... With this win, Sindhu became the second Indian badminton player to reach an Olympic semifinal after Saina Nehwal achieved the feat at London Olympics.
In the first game Yihan was taking couple of points lead 3-0 and 11-8 but Sindhu was catching her ... At 20-18 Sindhun missed couple of game points but she converted third when Yihan missed the line ... In the second game Sindhu took early lead, 8-3, and at break 11-8 ... Yihan tried amazing comeback when Sindhu was leading 18-13, Yihan won next 6 points to lead 18-19 ... Sindhu kept her nerves and won next 3 points for aone of the best win of her career ... In the semis she is facing WR #6 Japanese Nozomi Okuhara.
Turkish wrestler scored early couple of points and after that he defended only ... Hardeep failed to score point and lost bout by a point.
