At Australian Open 2014, Melbourne
[Q1] Yuki Bhambri (IND,172) l (28) Potito Starace (ITA,153) 36 61 26
I m disappointed with this loss ... Though Starace was former top-30 player and very experienced but still Yuki had tools to overcame the challenge ... In this match also his service game was let him down ... In the first set Yuki broke Starace in 1st game but failed to hold his serve in next game, 1-all ... Yuki missed break point chances in 7th game and Starace broke him in 8th game ... Starace hold in next game for winning this set ... In the second set Yuki broke Starace in 2nd game to lead 3-0 ... Yuki again broke Starace in 6th game, 5-1, and then hold his service game for winning this set comfortably ... In the decider Yuki struggled with his service games and lost his services thrice and managed to convert only a single break point from four to lose this match ... Missed big opportunity.

Rohan-Aisam needed another match tie-break for completing victory in 1 hour and 33 minutes against tricky pairing of Treat Huey-Dominic Inglot ...
