Match was tough but surprised to see that Buji didn't try to come near net to broke Lopez's rhythm and played baseline counter-punching game ... In the first set Buji was stretched to hold his service games but Lopez was holding comfortably ... Lopez take crucial break in 9th game to lead 5-4 ... In 10th game Buji had 2 break points which he failed to convert and Lopez converted 1st set point for winning this set ... In the second set also same pattern was repeated ... After 3-all Lopez broke Buji in 7th game to take 4-3 lead ... After that Lopez kept holding his service games for winning the second set ... In the third set Lopez broke Buji in 1st game but from 1-3 Buji made comeback ... He broke Lopez in 6th game converting 2nd break point, 3-all ... At 5-all Lopez broke Buji in 11th game to take 6-5 lead but Buji attacked Lopez when he was serving for the match ... Buji broke Lopez in 12th game to take the set in tie-break ... Tie-break proved one-sided as Buji won 1st point and then lost next 6 points including 2 points on his serve (4th and 5th) ... Buji saved one match point on his serve at 1-6 but lost next point to lose this match ...

Radek Stepanek has retired in his singles match so may be big blow for Leander's participation in this AO men's doubles.
