20 yrs Sloane Stephens proved too stong for Sania .. She overpowered Sania for comfortable win ... In the first set she broke Sania in 3rd and 7th games to won it ... In the second set Sania was up with break at 3-1 but Sloane Stephens fought back breaking Sania in 5th and 7th games ... With single break advantage Sloane Stephens won the second set and match.

Last few months I was avoiding putting women's ITF scores due to one-sided losses of our players ... But in this on-going Bangalore ITF our players gave some heartening performances ... Rishika Sunkara, Sharmada Balu and Ankita Raina gave encouraging performances in their losses against experienced and higher ranked opponents.
Kyra shroff produced biggest upset of the tournament beating 3rd seed and in form Slovakian Zuzana Luknarova in straight sets ... After long time our player (other than Sania) defeated top-300 player ... Kyra need to show consistency and win next match against Italian veteran Nicole Clerico.
