Saina started with very dominating win over Sayaka Sato ... She lost only 21 points in the match and won it in 33 minutes ... Next Saina is facing Dutch qualifier Judith Meulendijks, who upset WR #14 Thai Porntip Buranaprasertsuk.
But disappointing run of Jwala and Diju continued here ... They lost easily against Japanese pair.
Jie Yao take early 4-1 lead and which she kept increasing ... Sindhu tried fightback from 11-19, she saved 3 game points from 15-20 but Yao won the first game ... In the second game both players were neck to neck from the start ... Sindhu won 6 points in a row from 10-11 to opened the lead ... Sindhu managed to keep that lead and converted 2nd game point to won this game ... In the third game Sindhu started with winning first 5 points ... Jie Yao managed to reduce it to 9-10 but Sindhu kept couple of points lead ... But from 13-16 Jie Yao managed to catch Sindhu at 17-all ... Sindhu again won next 2 points to open 19-17 lead but Jie Yao won last 4 points to complete victory in 55 minutes ... Missed opportunity for Sindhu.
Shocking result for Ajay ... He missed big opportunity to gather important ranking points and claim for Olympic participation ... He lost in straight games against lowly ranked Pedro Martins ... Kashyap and Sourabh lost easily against their seeded opponents.
Rupesh and Sanave started with win against Dutch pair ... Next they r facing 5th seed Indonesian pair ... Jwala and Ashwini started with winning the first game against WR #5 Japanese pair but after that Japanese pair fought back and take control to win.
