Akhil Kumar (IND) bt Marcel Schneider (GER) 15:6 pts

In the 54 kg draw, Indian Commonwealth Games champion Akhil Kumar comfortably beat Germany's Marcel Schneider 15:6 and will face Olympic silver medallist Yankiel Leon Alarcon from Cuba.

81kg - Light-Heavyweight Quarter Final

Dinesh Kumar (IND) bt Abdelhafid Benchabla (ALG) 17:11 pts

Dinesh Kumar also guranteed our second medal with win over Algerian boxer Abdelhafid Benchabla and in the semis he will face Russian Artur Beterbiev.

Today Jitender Kumar is facing Welsh boxer Jo Gage in 51kg Flyweight category and Lalit Anthresh Lakra is facing Mexican Arturo Santos Reyes in 57kg Featherweight category.
