Sandeep Singh converted 3 penlaty corners in his comeback match was silverline of this match ... Otherwise disappointed start in this edition of Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament.

So with this loss Mahesh and Mark lost opportunity of leading ATP Doubles Race from next week ... Other hand somewhat expected loss against Polish pair for Lee and Paul.

At U-16 Asia-Oceania Fed Cup Qualifying Tournament, Thailand

India l Australia 1-2

Rishika SUNKARA (IND) l Monika WEJNERT (AUS) 67(3) 26
Rashmi TELTUMBDE (IND) bt Olivia RICH (AUS) 75 46 62
Rashmi TELTUMBDE (IND)/ Rishika SUNKARA (IND) l Olivia RICH (AUS)/ Mia VRIENS (AUS) 36 36

I feel our captain's gamble backfired of playing Rashmi Teltumbde in doubles after her marathon 2 hrs 40 mins match ... Instead playing Ratnika Batra was better option and she already played 2 matches with Sunkara in this tournament.

So now our girls having Hercules task of beating China in quarter-finals to qualifying for World group.
