[SF] Satwiksairaj Rankireddy (IND)/ Chirag Shetty (IND) vs (1) Marcus Fernaldi Gideon (INA)/ Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo (INA)
Srikanth gave a decent fight to the in-form WR #1 Kento Momota, but lost in straight games.
Saina missed an opportunity against the WR #1 Tzu Ying Tai ... In the first game, Saina opened 12-6 lead which increased to 16-9, but from here Tai started fightback ... Tai reduced lead to 16-15 but still, Saina kept control and had a 4 game points at 20-16 ... Tai won next 6 points in a row for winning this game ... Saina never came out of these missed opportunity and Tai took advantage of it after winning the second game comfortably.
A disappointing loss for Sindhu against Bingjiao He ... Sindhu failed to raise her game against He.
Considering their current form and consistency I was expecting win for Manu and Sumeeth ... But Satwik and Chirag played an excellent match to complete win in straight games little over a half hour ... Next, they r facing the WR #1 Indonesian pair.
